The pharmaceutical companies that are members of “Association of manufacturers of pharmaceuticals” NGO sell the large portion of production in foreign markets. Medicines produced by these companies correspond to international standards.
The high quality of produced drugs is seen in indicators on export. About 20 million pharmaceutical products are exported from Armenia. Local drug companies export their products to countries of the Middle East. Medicines are exported to Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Iraq, Yemen, Vietnam. One of the members of the organization, the company “Arpimed”, exports its products to Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Yemen. Production of the company “Azad” is presented in Armenia, as well as in Canada, Switzerland, China. For the company “Liqvor” the first countries for export were Russia and Georgia. Belarus, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Iraq, Vietnam are the main directions of export of drugs. Currently, the company exports more than 70% of its products to countries in Eurasia, Central Asia and the Middle East. Products under the trademark “Esсo-Pharm” have a stable position in the markets of the Russian Federation, Georgia, and Uzbekistan. “Medical Horizon” exports most of its products to Uzbekistan, Georgia.“Tonus-Les”is the representative of a number of world-famous pharmaceutical companies not only in Armenia, but also in Georgia and Kazakhstan.
