On June 30, the three-day forum “ChemEx2022: Chemistry.Pharma.Biotech. New Challenges” started in Yerevan, The Forum was organized by the information and analytical magazine “Chemical Expert”. The Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Kerobyan, Deputy of the State Duma Alexander Mazhuga, President of the National Academy of Sciences of the RA Ashot Sagyan, Director of the State Institute of Drugs and Good Practices Vladislav Shestakov delivered welcoming speeches at the opening ceremony.  The participants of the forum discussed the development of the pharmaceutical industry and the export potential of the EAEU countries in the new conditions, the possibilities of manufacturing high-tech products, the training for specialists in the sector, and cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran. The forum also raised issues about pharmaceutical standards and the production of chemical reagents. The forum was held with the support of  The Russian Chemists Union, the State Institute of Drugs and Good Practices, Association “ROSKHIMREAKTIV”, GxPNews, “Liqvor” company, the Association of Manufacturers of Pharmaceuticals of the RA, the National Academy of Sciences of the RA. The President of the Association, Taguhi Piruzyan, made a presentation on the local pharmaceutical companies and the prospects for the development of the Armenian pharmaceutical industry. In his presentation, “Liqvor” company General Director Sergey Matevosyan, elaborated on the activities and achievements of the company for 30 years.
